Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC)

Grants

The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) administers a comprehensive grants program that funds local arts and humanities organizations, as well as individual artists and scholars. AHCMC annually distributes over $2.5 million in grants to organizations, schools, civic groups and individuals to help fund enriching cultural activities in our County. Funding is provided by the Montgomery County Government.

AHCMC provides grant preparation training to potential grantees ensuring a level playing field during the application process. Grant applications are submitted via AHCMC's on-line grant system, a program that benefits small, mid-sized and large organizations.

In addition to providing funding for the arts and humanities in Montgomery County, AHCMC offers the opportunity for local artists, scholars and teaching artists to be listed on one of our two grants-related rosters: Teaching Artist Roster and Artists and Scholars Roster.
