A collaborative venture between the AHCMC and Montgomery County government, the Kramer Gallery occupies a unique place in Greater Washington's arts community. It is the first and only art gallery dedicated specifically to showcasing Montgomery County's professional visual artists. Although the gallery was built as an integral part of the Silver Spring Civic Building, the expenses of operating the gallery are entirely the responsibility of AHCMC.
On March 13, AHCMC is launching the Kramer Gallery Donor Circle, a new philanthropic "friends group" dedicated to supporting the Gallery's programs while enhancing members' understanding of an appreciation for the visual arts. Donor levels begin at $100 and include a private champagne reception and lecture with internationally renowned artist Greg Mort. For donations of $250 and higher, donors will receive a signed, limited-edition print either by Jon Mort or Greg Mort (see below for details).
