Kramer Gallery Donor Circle

Last March, AHCMC launched the Kramer Gallery Donor Circle, a philanthropic friends group dedicated to supporting the Gallery's programs while enhancing members' understanding of and an appreciation for the visual arts. The 2012 Donor Circle class raised nearly $5000 to underwrite public exhibitions and programs.

AHCMC invites art lovers to now join the 2013 Donor Circle class on March 21, 2013 at an exclusive champagne reception and artist salon highlighting the current exhibition Community Reflections. Donor levels begin at $100 and include the private champagne reception with Joseph Craig English and Cynthia Farrell Johnson, the two artists featured in Community Reflections. For donations of $250 and higher, donors will receive a signed, limited-edition art work by English and Johnson (details below).

What is the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery and Music Room?

A collaborative venture between the AHCMC and Montgomery County government, the Kramer Gallery occupies a unique place in Greater Washington's arts community. It is the first and only art gallery dedicated specifically to showcasing Montgomery County's professional visual artists. Although the gallery was built as an integral part of the Silver Spring Civic Building, the expenses of operating the gallery are entirely the responsibility of AHCMC.
