Do & Go

A service of the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, Do & Go is an online calendar for cultural events in Montgomery County. Festivals, camps, classes, museums, historical sites and performances -- it's all here! It aims to make it easier for Montgomery County's cultural organizations to publicize their events and to make it easier for the Montgomery County community to find them. Do & Go membership is open to all Montgomery County cultural non-profits and cultural for-profits.

Events posted to Do & Go must be open to the public and take place in the Montgomery County. Do & Go does not accept:

  • Events outside of Montgomery County, MD
  • Virtual events without a designated location
  • Events that are not related to the arts or humanities
  • Religious services or events that assume religious or spiritual beliefs
  • Sales, shopping and merchandising events not related to the arts or humanities
  • Entrepreneurial, networking or recruitment events
  • Calls for entry or vendor solicitations
  • Food and drink specials
  • "Adult" oriented entertainment or salacious content

AHCMC reserves the right to revise, reject or cancel, in whole or in part, any listing for any reason. Please contact a site administrator if you have questions about these guidelines or the event submission process.

How do I become a Do & Go member?

  • Sign up and indicate what membership level you'd like to purchase. (Membership levels are listed below.) Don't forget what e-mail address and password you provide -- it will be your login information later!
  • Once we review your organization's information, we'll send you a contract to sign and fax or e-mail back as well as information on how to pay for your membership.
  • After receiving your signed contract and payment, we'll activate your account so you can start posting your events!

Level 1 Membership

Cultural Non-Profit: $65 | Cultural For-Profit: $95

Level 2 Membership

Cultural Non-Profit: $180 | Cultural For-Profit: $200

  • Unlimited posting to calendar
  • 5 listings in the Fun Finder email
  • One small ad on the Do & Go website for two weeks

Level 3 Membership

Cultural Non-Profit: $300 | Cultural For-Profit: $350

  • Unlimited posting to calendar
  • 10 listings in the Fun Finder email
  • One large ad on the Do & Go website for two weeks

 * Membership fees will be prorated for organizations joining during the fiscal year 2012 (July 2011 - July 2012).

Fun Finder

Sent each Thursday by Bethesda Magazine, the Fun Finder is an email containing information about six cultural events occuring that week. A number of Fun Finder listings are included in each DOandGO.org membership level, and Fun Finder listings must be reserved in advance by emailing Shellie.Williams@creativemoco.comClick here for Fun Finder Guidelines.
