Montgomery County Council has approved a budget of $6.7 million for Arts and Humanities Council grants and administration. The resolution for FY23 is as follows:
- Grant funding for General Operating Support II & I, Project Grants, Individual Artist/Scholar Grants, Wheaton Cultural Projects, Advancement Grants, and Arts Residencies in Schools. Additionally, a $25,000 one-time grant fund for Wheaton Cultural Projects: $5,646,737 (an $580,313 increase over FY22)
- AHCMC Administration: $692,369 (an $51,287 increase over FY22)
- Public Arts Trust: $408,000 (flat over FY22)
