Exploring the unique frameworks we develop for navigating the world around us.

The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) is delighted to celebrate the opening of Personal Topographies with a public reception at the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery and Music Room on February 28, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Personal Topographies features works by three local artists: Mei Mei Chang, Sara Parent-Ramos and Jessica van Brakle.

Personal Topographies explores the personal frameworks that individuals develop for navigating the world around us, from the societal structures that scaffold our day-to-day experiences with others to the natural and built infrastructures that we physically encounter. The exhibition features the works of three artists, Mei Mei Chang, Sara Parent-Ramos and Jessica van Brakle, who utilize different vantage points and media to investigate the ways in which we process and maneuver these systems.

Personal Topographies will be on view every Friday from February 28 – May 10, 2024. The opening reception is free and open to the public. Tickets can be reserved at: personaltopographies.eventbrite.com
